The A/W 09 menswear collection from Central St. Martins alumnus Jenny Schwarz. The collection takes influence from classic men's tailoring styles and adds a dark twist as evident in the innovative detailing. The dark and desperate side of Russian Fairytales and human nature is referenced in the undertone and details added to classic items, the butchers apron providing a final macabre touch. The collection utilises taffeta, leather, wool and waxed cotton in a unique manner to create a cohesive set of garments whose attention to detail and extensive hand finishing provide a luxury edge.
