" COMEFORBREAKFAST " is the clothing line by Antonio Romano shown at "White" to open
the 2010 season. This first collection, created and carried out in Italy, aims to widen our product
range. Not only streetwear, the, but a bold total look concept that might catch on different
market targets in a trasversal way. " COMEFORBREAKFAST " is black or white t-shirts and tank
tops made of cotton and viscose, hand-printed with non-toxic water colours. Antonio Romano's
designs, provocative and minimal, elaborate a refined line with flash of colours, giving the product
quite an original neatness. The study and the planning of a new design and construction of models
add to these t-shirts an easy fitting, in line with contemporary trends, drawing them up to the
oversize vein. The mixture between tradition and research, which recuperates certain and-crafted
printing tecniques throught new tecnologies, guarantees the line a new conception of wearability,
without ever weighing down or spoiling the textile. Antonio Romano created a series of
out-and-out art t-shirts : what do his designs represent ?
Anthropomorphic animals and zoomorphic beings, deceitful and perverted objects, enigmatic
bodies which make up an unreal world, as if it was a fairy tale, carelessly thrown on erotism.
Illustration techniques, art comics, a certain kind of japanese horror movies, all off these things
contribute to the fervent imagination of this young artist and desiger, who choose fashion as an
exclusive mean for his creation/creatures. A classy key to reinvent a pop product. Traditionally
the t-shirt is a young market-oriented product. " COMEFORBREAKFAST " aiming to an
unscrupulous but full of refined talent irony, reinterprets it for a more flexible target that doesn't
renounce to an essential elegance even for a dayly occasion and-why not-even for breakfast !
