With it’s scarves for men and women along with it’s pocket squares, Antagoniste is off the beaten tracks, proposing an in-between poetic and rock’n roll collection.
The first one, Memento Mori, shows some XVIII th century engravings, which are a sort of exquisite corpse with duality games about vanities.
Antagoniste is the will to be a paradox. Clash of times with new printing technologies and old engravings. Clash of styles with it’s classic twill of silk and surprising graphics.
Clash of will, with discret and soft pastel colors, against the eye-catching anatomic elements, the fœtus, the monsters and the cross bred animals. In fact, a strange and roman curio cabinet.
