Women's shoe collection -

The talented Finnish shoe designer Terhi Pölkki launched in October 2011 her first
collection for the spring and summer 2012, which celebrates both Nordic
minimalism and love for the big cities. The Cordwainers graduate from
London and the Finnish Shoe Designer of 2008 has created an outstanding
collection of feminine, life-loving shoes with polished, hand-stitched
effects.

"I wanted the collection to carry the urban spirit of East London, and
its‘ relaxed and creative atmosphere. The girl walking in my shoes loves
living in the city – wherever she is, new, exciting things are waiting for
her round the corner. At the same time, there is also the air of dreamy
spring nights of the North in these shoes“, says Ms Pölkki, who grew up in
Finland and has lived for several years in Hackney in London.

The Terhi shoe collection has lace-up shoes, ankle boots and platforms.
There is also a range of classic clog styles that are manufactured in
Finland. The rest of the collection is made in Portugal. The shoes are
fabricated of high-guality, nature-friendly vegetan leather. For the
colours of the shoes, Ms Pölkki has chosen black, rose and sand.
