Inspiration

The brand Leitmotiv was born from the creative complicity between Juan Caro and Fabio Sasso, an harmony between artistic research and couture. Fashion in their works draws on art which becomes wearable; such an ambivalence is expressed through the research of materials, printings and patterns: the effect is a style that recoveries the meaning of art and fashion as skills, techniques. The atmosphere of their creations is on the borderline between Fabio’s baroque and decorative taste and the Juan’s gothic texture; they evoke complex, fairy-tale and surreal sceneries, that they translate into visual suggestions through the printings, the accessories. Leitmotiv’s collections represent trait d’union between craftsmanship and fashion, male and female, past and present.
