A coup at Who’s Next! // by Mlle Quincampoix // Things // Added 2010/02/08 at 15:25

Graffiti artists have taken over Who’s Next !
Along the entire aisle: canvasses, bombs, colors and live art performances!

Many “street” artists have brought their equipment and start painting live, according to the “Coup d’E.T.A.T“ rules.

At 6 pm: Live music by Xerak with videos by Systaime.
E.T.A.T is an experimental group of young artists.
Elegangz will establish an ephemeral and fictitious artistic regime in Paris in 2010.
This E.T.A.Tincludes ten artists supported by a host of volunteers.
At the same time, a dissident movement is being created.
The E.T.A.T is not a political identity but a creative lab leading to concrete creations including various supports, medias and disciplines (street art, net art, digital art, generative art, illustrations, video, philosophy, architecture, math…).
The E.T.A.T philosophy: "crealism", the world is our work of art and ongoing co-creation.
The E.T.A.T organization: contributive transversalism.
E.T.A.T enemies: prosaic governments, the tyranny of capitalist profit and sad passions.
The E.T.A.T fights for : a harmonious and free world where everyone can create, act and exist intensely.
It’s really great to witness artistic creation on progress on a trade show such as Who’s Next.
I hope you are not too frustrated…I haven’t written about fashion and trends, but tomorrow, I promise to share beautiful discoveries with you! This session, the trade show is filled with great surprises!
As early as 9 am, I’ll be sitting at my Sony Vaio laptop, my loyal companion during the trade show.
And I may even have the opportunity to try the new 360° SONY camera… Awesome, isn’t it?
And why not a live report from the catwalk, backstage?
My personal best-of in the FRESH - part 1
January 25th, 2010 by Mlle Quincampoix
Live from the ephemeral Sony Vaio / Intel blog office:
One first batch of my favorites exhibited in the FRESH area at Who’s Next (area devoted to young designers).
On the agenda: mineral beads, bear-faced jewels that look as if they were made of wax, a graphic cloak to die for… new brands and wonderful materials…
