Live from the ephemeral Sony VAIO/Intel blog office at WSN. // by Fashion Colors
Well, another edition of WSN is coming to an end. Four days filled with surprises, new contacts and fashion ideas for the coming fashion season!
This trade show is a real breeding ground for promising young designers with more than 1,300 brands from all over the world, dispatched up in 5 creation areas:
Face, devoted to streetwear and urban labels, Fresh, the young designers’ favourite spot, Fame and Private for renowned brands and fur-makers. New this year: the Petit Who's Next area, devoted to kids aged 0 to 16. What a program!
Most of the exhibitors demonstrated their imaginativeness and creativity to draw the public’s attention and introduce them to new means of expression. Body paint, customisation studio, Knitting happy-hour with the Collectif France Tricot (French Knitting Group), makeover contest, tribute to YSL with a picture exhibition, and an exercise in style around flags… without forgetting the famous Coup d’Etat organized by the Elegangz artist network.
As you know, I was given the opportunity to be part of the WSN blog office in the Sony/Intel area, to live these four days intensely with my two blogging mates, Mademoiselle Quincampoix and Jay.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. I must leave my new best friend, who stood by me on the trade show’s 45,000 sqm, thanks to its great battery autonomy (thank you Intel!): my great Sony VAIO laptop! That’s how hard life gets…
I’ll leave you with this souvenir video shot by the eccentric blogger Vaness la bomba. Enjoy!
