Well, I'm really happy to write this news! That’s why we created the Who's Next Blog. So this platform would become a virtual meeting place and also enable the most talented among you to exhibit your creations during our trade shows in Paris, France, and get the opportunity to meet with 1,000 journalists and more than 40, 000 visitors.
Twice a year, Who's Next presents a collection of 700 men’s, women’s and accessory brands. The next session (the 30th!) will take place from Thursday September 3rd to Sunday September 6th 2009 in Paris, Hall 1 at Porte de Versailles.
Since the beginning, we’ve always supported young artists and designers in the fields of fashion, design, arts and music. The Who's Next trade show and Who's Next Blog share a common goal: to be a meeting platform for young designers and fashion professionals.
We’re launching the first edition of the WSNblog contest for the September 09 session and thus giving you the opportunity to take part by creating your profile and posting creations. This contest will be rewarding 10 winners according to creativity, style, quality and image standards. And trust us, we’ll be keeping you up to date with some pictures!
A professional jury will select 10 winners, for their men’s or women’s collections, and Who's Next will grant them:
=> a free exhibiting space for their first presentation in the Fast and Fresh creation areas, from September 3rd to 6th 2009 (compulsory insurance fees: 52 € without tax), your name in the catalogue handed to all visitors as well as in the press kit handed to all journalists.
What to do:
1. If you want to take part in this contest, post your creations before June the 11th, by adding the Who’s Next 09 page to your designer profile.
2. We’ll be doing a pre-selection until the end of May. The pre-selected designers will be notified by e-mail and asked to send us a complete file by regular mail, including:
- your resume
- the brand philosophy
- a selection of 5 products samples representing the spirit of the collection
- 5 sketches of your collection along with fabric samples
- the price range
- your 10 target shops/boutiques in your own country and/or abroad
- the completed Who’s Next registration form.
3. The winners for the September 09 Who's Next session will be selected based on this file
