Todd James aka REAS and Lydia Fong aka Barry McGee came together in a joint show that recently opened in Copenhagen at V1 Gallery. The show featured the trademark visual styles of each respective artist as well as a collaborative piece to cap off the show.

Those who have gone to see the wonderful “Toy Story 3″ received an unexpected treat with a six-minute short to start the show. “Day & Night” is the short, and was created by a rising star of animation named Teddy Newton. The short film combines 2-D and 3-D techniques and is like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

Here are some of the final release of a series of images from GILLES ET DADA for their new and now open site/project NOSTYLEBUTGOODSENSE. I love the style of these photos. They’re dark yet sexy at the same time. The use of black and white is balanced almost perfectly while the manipulation of faces and focused body parts through material or paint use is absolutely fantastic.

LACOSTE challenged Chinese artist Li Xiaofeng to create two different polos for the 2010 Holiday Collector’s Series. For both, he had to adapt his work methods slightly. For the limited edition printedpolo, he chose blue and white shards with lotus and children designs from the Kangxi Period (1662 - 1772 AD) of the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911 AD). Amazing!
