Carte Blanche
 Elroy

To create, share and discover. That’s what motivates us at Who's Next Blog: to bring you the best of young fashion creation. That’s the spirit of this newsletter, to welcome the autumn leaves, unless your live in the southern hemisphere! Lucky you…

He’s just back from a short break, his head filled with plenty of plans and news; we’d like to introduce you to Elroy, a young artist and jack of all trades, who has chosen to express himself via graphic arts, video, DJing, VJing, toyz customisation... Not to be missed!

Butter

Butter is good and you can do plenty of things with it, including toasts. Here are some of the designers who’ve joined our community these last weeks, and should attract your attention. Awesome stuff!

 A.Y. Not Dead

A.Y. NOT DEAD // Argentina
A.Y. NOT DEAD was founded in 2002 by Noel Romero and Ángeles Chevallier. They were soon aclaimed in the local underground scene specially because of their  irreverent, relaxed and postpunk style and their provocative and ironic prints. Inspired by rock, art and South American reality they have been  collaborating with various local avangarde artists and musicians in order to convey a message of change. We love the different styles, shapes and colors developed in the various collections.

 FST Handwear

FST HANDWEAR // France
Fst Handwear revamps gloves: welcome to colors, inspired graphic designs, and modern fibers. If gloves have always been a reference in terms of exclusive accessories, they still needed to be adapted for the young generation. Because we’re worth it!

 Kling By Kling

KLING BY KLING // UK
Kling, a metal-sounding password, brings us to the fantasy-filled world of Swedish designer Karolina Kling. Established in London since 2006, Kling has chosen a graphic and ultra-geometric concept nonetheless open to dreams. Obsessed with black and white, the brand’s essential concept, Karolina gives a go at colors, sparkling discreet touches of bright colors on the various models.

 Architectural Clothes

ARCHITECTURAL CLOTHES // Mexico
Basing on the examination of geometry in clothing, the design line is focused on the garment construction, and senses a body-conscious design, favoring the rigidity and masculine forms of male anatomy. The designer, Nahum Villasana, is 22 and studied Fashion Design and Pattern Making at Escuela de Diseno de Baja California, where he now teaches History of Costume. A young and talented teacher!

 Sadak

SADAK // Germany
Sadak is the ancient name for a traditional sleeveless jacket worn in some regions of the Balkans. The collection is under the influence of the designer’s country of origin, Serbia, and reinterpreted according to the codes and beliefs of this region so as to build a modern, aesthetic and powerful line. Incredible work, state of the art creativity.

 Samia Malik

SAMIA MALIK // UK
Samia studied Womenswear Fashion Central at St Martins in 2004 - 2005 and completed a degree in Fashion at Winchester school of Art in 2002. The initial concept of Samia Malik's work is propaganda, concept that has been dilated and curved into other areas that are still connected. We like the extreme graphic aspect of her work associated with simplicity and vivid colors!

WHAT'S UP ? & GOT FRESH SOUND ?

 News

After the creations, the shops! Between Paris and Berlin, discover two stories, two persons, two visions… all that gives their boutiques this little something that makes you feel like going in… We thank them for the interviews.

 Podcasts

Take a coin. Look at it carefully. What do all the coins of the world have in common? They have two different sides! Well, it’s just the same for music. If you feel like dancing on your chair or table, we warmly recommend the unique mix by K.S, 26 years old, already under contract with databass. And if you feel like something cooler, to snuggle up against your beloved one, to communicate with nature or just spend a nice time, let Franklin take care of your ears. He’s very talented.

 Mister Blog

More than 400 creations have been posted on our site since it was first launched in June and only 167 of them are visible on line. There might be a general outcry from some of you, but it’s a common decision made by the Who’s Next team. As Nietzsche used to say: "Do what you like and what master". Make a statement, be enthusiastic, we love it! No room for consensus.

We are currently working on a second version of the site that’ll give you the opportunity to express your universe and will clarify the fashion offer intended at professional visitors. These professionals will be invited to check out the new site before the end of the year, as soon as it’s ready. We look forward to hearing your feedback: contact@whosnextblog.com.
