> Introduce yourself briefly

Bérangère Claire, designer and creator of the eponymous brand two years ago.  
 
> How does one end up designing clothes? Has it always attracted you or is it a late revelation?

None of the two. I’ve always loved fashion, but only started drawing as a young student, just as any student! 

> How do you move from passionate designer to professional designer?

With a little paperwork and extra risks. You also need to be self-confident, which comes along with time and experience.

> What are your inspiration sources? 

Mostly my everyday life, people I see in the street. The old ladies in my neighborhood usually have an incredible look. I see them when I go grocery shopping.

> Among your creations, which is your favorite item and why?

I don’t have one favorite item in particular, but I think the first shirt I designed acted as a lucky charm.

To be beautiful

> What’s your latest news?

The Spring-Summer collection will soon be available (February) and I’m currently working on the Fall-Winter 09/10 to present it in a few days.

> The question you’d like to be asked?

The one after, for instance.  It’s a nice change.

> Favorite drink?

Champagne

> A successful evening?

Friends and champagne (but it also works with other drinks!)

> Latest concert?

That was a hell of a long time ago! And apparently, not worth remembering!
