> Can you briefly introduce yourself ?
I am a french designer, based in Netherlands. I graduated in Product Design at Ensaama Olivier de Serres in Paris, and then continued my studies at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, in the department Man and Well Being. I graduated in 2009 with an inspiration book and a collection both called “Transformations”. Since then I launched my studio Camille Cortet and continued developping new accessories, and working as a freelancer in design studios.
> How did you start designing clothes ? Is is something you’ve always wanted to do ?
I always had an interest in Fashion, gathering Images and inspirations in magazines, visiting exhibitions. But volumes and objects where my first passion. It is only when I arrived at the design Academy that I started to create accessories, textiles, wearables, discovering that it was actually what I wanted to do as a designer.
> What are your sources or inspiration ?
Lately my main inspirations have been the animal realm, I developed a passion for textures and structures of animals’outside layers, and natural patterns. Nature is just a wonderful example of design, an infinite source of inspiration.

> Your favorite addresses in your city ?
In Amsterdam I would recommend the Nieuwe Anita for the movies every Mondays, and the nice parties there.
> Favorite drink ?
A good red wine for any occasion!
> Describe a successful evening/night ?
Gathering friends for a dinner which ends as a dancing party.
