> Can you briefly introduce yourself ?
Until now…
I studied fashion design in FDModa, Barcelona. During this period working with professionals in various fields of fashion and get first prize "Your Stilo, Your Studio" for L'Oreal Paris, Madrid.
In 2007 I completed my studies, graduating with the third prize for best collection and i was working for Antonio Miró during this period.
My first collection was worthy of the prize Catalunya Disseny Emergent in the first edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, which catapulted him to Paris formed in 2008 with designers Bernnard Willhelm, developing the prints of the women's collection SS 09 and Thomas Engel Hart.
In 2009 in founded Juan Antonio Ávalos prêt-à-porter for men in Barcelona.
I also worked with brands like Nike, Converse or Superga.
With third collection i won Best menswear collection 080 Barcelona Fashion Week July 2010.

> How did you start designing clothes? Is it something you’ve always wanted to do ?
I Grew with the fashion gadgets from my sister and her magazines. But I decided to do fashion just a few months before to start my studies in FdModa in 2003/september with 19 years old.
> What are your sources or inspiration ?
All around me is inspiration. You never know when the sparks it comes.

> Your news? Your projects ?
I can’t speak about projects because i have some but no one is totally close, you never know if will be done. I’ve some projects to do like cobrandings and also with musicians. Next show in 080 Barcelona Fashion, 31 January.
