> Can you briefly introduce yourself?

My name’s Hélèna Kerbiche, I am 30 and come from Lille, I design "things to wear", also known as "jewels"..

> How did you start designing clothes? Is it something you’ve always wanted to do?

I started designing pieces for myself and my close relatives (friends, family) and I am now established as a professional designer.

> What are you sources or inspiration?

I think my creations are mostly inspired by my everyday life, the positive and negative experiences, as well as my insatiable curiosity…

> Fashion, what for?

To spend my money! ; )

To continue developing the Step-Up collection, and a future collaboration with RQM (a musician from Berlin), who wants to work together with a fashion designer for the release of his next EP.

Friends, good laughs, music all over the place, eccentric dances… ending up with a yummy breakfast…

Oxmo Puccino at Grand Mix in Tourcoing. It lasted 2.30 hrs, he didn’t want to leave!!!

> Your last exhibition?

Two exhibitions at the Maison folie de Moulins in Lille, "Witness of chaos" by Isham, a graffiti artist, (canvas, drawings and installation) and " Glasnostdead", a collective exhibition mixing paint, graffiti, illustration, sculpture, etc.

> A motto?

Act stupid, but always with enthusiasm! (Colette)
