> Mr. Blog : Can you briefly introduce yourself ?
Sinpatron was born six years ago in Bilbao. Self-taught, he has managed to both surprise and appeal through alternative clothes created without following any pattern, molded directly on mannequins, as if they were sculptures. In 2006 he won the Prize for Best Upcoming Fashion designer on the International Benicassim Festival (FIB). Since then he has presented his collections all around Spain in venues such as EGO of Cibeles Fashion Week, noovo festival, south 32-36n or the Valencia Fashion Week, where he will be presenting his ss11 new collection “sinoux” in september 2010. Also, in recent years he has collaborated with a large number of international photographers and visual artists, and his work has been included in many editorial-spreads.
> How did you start designing clothes? Is it something you’ve always wanted to do ?
I was not very interested in fashion before my first collection. I was working in a bar in my town and somebody told me to try something in fashion doing the kind of clothes i used to weared ,all them ued to be customized by my self. I was´nt very confident about it but i tried, and now there is six years from this.
> What are your sources or inspiration ? I just do the kind of clothes i want to wear and see in the streets….all this mixed with my own world arround, music, films , friends, life experiences...

For me, obviusly , for enjoy it.
> Your news? Your projects ?
Now im working whith a contemporary dance company in his new piece, and just came from presenting this new collection in the Valencia fashion week. I just want to keep on trying to stay in and live with this, and continue doing collaborations with otherdisciplines such as photo, dance, musicians, etc
> Your favorite adresses in your city ?
Shopping : persuade ( even the best shop in spain for me) and love to walk arround the old part of bilbao with friends.

I prefer to sew than other question.
