It’s difficult for young fashion designers to draw attention, and it’s just about the same for young fashion photographers: you might as well fight your way in the crowd just like in action movies!

To change the situation and make it easier for young photographers to get visibility, the Picto Prize for young photographers was created in 1998. To celebrate the 10th Prize awarded on October 22nd, we’re inviting you to have a look at a best-of of these last 10 years’ pieces of work.

2008 Award winners: Suzie Q and Léo SIBONI

Suzie Q and Léo SIBONI were born in France in 1985. After a degree in Cinema for Leo and graphic art for Suzie, they met at the Ecole des Gobelins in 2004. After graduating in 2006, Suzie was then admitted to the prestigious Paris School of Fine Arts. They decided to work together as fashion photographers. In September 2008, their first series of pictures “Screen Play” was published by Double magazine. Most of all, they like staging their pictures, the set is as important to them as the models to tell a visual story. Their work is under the very strong influence of cinema and contemporary art.
